The best way to learn the skills required to be a competent kiteboarder is to practice. By flying the Ozone IMP 2.5m Trainer kite for as many hours as possible before taking a lesson with us (we recommend 12-15 hrsmin), you will have a thorough understanding of the key principals involved in the sport. By then watching the "How to" DVD, you'll understand even further, the intricacies and "ins and outs" of the lesson procedure and exercises you'll learn with us when you come to do your one on one lessons. Everything the instructor tells you will be familiar and you'll advance quickly and may not even need the third lesson! Flying a trainer is a great way to fill in the time before or after work, if the wind is too light to ride or especially over winter. It also helps to hone your kite skills to maximise the benefits of riding even when you know how to ride. Most riders have a Trainer kite stashed away for light wind fun. If you think flying one trainer kite is fun, try standing next to your buddy and fly one each and dog fight in the air.
